With 14% of B.C.’s GHG emissions flowing through FortisBC’s infrastructure, Tyler championed to senior management the importance of being proactive and productive in positioning themselves as an integral part of B.C’s emissions reductions. He was the strategy lead for the Clean Growth Pathway to 2050, Canada’s first long-term decarbonization pathway for the gas system, and has cemented climate policy as an area of focus and potential opportunity for the company. Tyler was the subject matter expert guiding the development of the first corporate GHG reduction target for a gas and electric utility in Canada.
