Principal, CMC
Tidal energy in Canada is finally getting a green light, and the FORCE team is helping drive it forward. They lead FORCE's $8.2-million Ocean Sensor Innovation Platforms project with partners from around the Bay of Fundy and sat on the federal task force that shaped Canada’s new regulatory approach to tidal power. That work led to the country's first authorization under the new framework, backing a 16.5-megawatt project between Eauclaire Tidal and Orbital Marine Power at FORCE's test site. Along the way, they brought more than 40 Atlantic Canadian suppliers into the tidal supply chain and invited deeper Mi'kmaw involvement. They have also reached over 30,000 people through talks, site visits and a documentary that’s made waves of its own, racking up 2.4 million views.

Corinne translates FORCE’s technical work into language people outside the lab can actually use. Through CMC, she connects the organization’s regulatory and scientific work with Mi’kmaw leadership, media and the public, drawing on decades of experience across First Nations relations, government and infrastructure communications.
